About Hotel

Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is an exclusive golf resort located in the eastern Algarve, near the town of Vila Nova de Cacela. Golf Courses

The resort is home to the Monte Rei Golf Club – North Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature design widely considered one of the finest courses in Portugal. The par-72 layout offers wide fairways, dramatic bunkering, and elevated tees across a rolling landscape. Designed to challenge experienced players while remaining playable for mid-handicappers, the course features excellent conditioning and scenic surroundings. A South Course, also designed by Jack Nicklaus, is under development. Practice facilities include a driving range, short game area, and golf academy.
